Thank you for considering Press Club to host your private event. With 9,000 square feet of design award-winning event space (our architects are the proud recipients of two AIA awards for “Best Restaurant Design”), we can handle events of any scope and size, from sit-down dinners for 20 to meet-and-greet happy hours for 50 to gala affairs for 300-500+.
Below you will find detailed descriptions of our semi private spaces.
SINGLE LOUNGE
Our Single Lounges are situated in the heart of the venue, close to all the action but with enough separation to allow for an intimate happy hour. Plush, living room style seating makes this semi private booking one of our most popular for casual mixers.
For groups of up to 25 guests, we can reserve a bar table adjacent to the Single Lounge for overflow. The additional bar table is suggested for groups that prefer a standing reception. Read more
DOUBLE LOUNGE
Press Club combines both Single Lounges into a Double Lounge to be reserved exclusively for your group. This plush, living room style area is a great semi private space to host a group of 35 for a casual mixer.
For groups of up to 50 guests, and if space allows, we can reserve two additional bar tables adjacent to the Double Lounge for overflow. Read more
WINE LIBRARY
Located at our entrance on the lobby level of the venue, Press Club’s Wine Library is an elegant semi private reception space, that enjoys 20 foot glass windows with views of the beautiful pedestrian walkway, Yerba Buena Lane. With lounge seating and a Bartender to check on you throughout your visit, the Wine Library is a great space to host up to 10-20 guests seated or 35 standing. Pre-selected self-serve wines can be paired with artisanal cheese boards, house made charcuterie, passed hors d’oeuvres or a full wine country display. Read more
TASTING BAY
Situated downstairs in the heart of the main venue, the East & West Bar Tasting Bays are our ever so popular dynamic U shape bars, ideal for standing cocktail receptions of up to 65 guests. These bars include a designated Bartender, bar stools, as well as a 13’ large bar table which serves as a great place to station displayed food. Our Tasting Bays are also a perfect wine & food pairing progression for up to fifty people. Pricing is for a three-hour event and does not include taxes, administrative fees and catering labor. STONE BAR BUYOUT
The Press Club Stone Bar Buyout is combination of our Private Dining Room, Bottle Lounge and Stone Bar. This three-hour booking is a luxurious, semi-private space to throw an elegant, cozy wine and food pairing reception. You receive a designated Bartender with beverage served from our Stone Bar along with wine education if desired. You may offer passed hors d’oeuvres, a seasonal wine pairing buffet or artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards throughout this booking. Typically for our Stone Bar receptions, the Private Dining Room is utilized for all displayed menus to allow ample space for your guests to spread out. Read more
STONE BAR BUYOUT PLUS
The Press Club Stone Bar Buyout Plus is a semi private reservation which combines our very popular Bar Buyout (Private Dining Room, Bottle Lounge and Main Stone Bar) with the added plush seating and square footage offered by our living room style, left lounge. Typically for our Stone Bar receptions, the Private Dining Room is utilized for all displayed menus to allow ample space for your guests to spread out. Read more
PARTIAL BUYOUT
This three hour semi private booking includes our Bar Buyout (which is comprised of our Main Stone Bar, Bottle Lounge and Private Dining Room), Left Lounge, Right Lounge and Tasting Bay and takes advantage of the back ¾ of Press Club. Featured in this space are three varietal bars with the option to include a fourth wine bar and fifth “beer” tasting bar if desired. FULL BUYOUT
The Full Buyout at Press Club is a private event experience and represents the perfect wine country experience with the convenience of never having to leave the city. Your group will enjoy 9000 sq. ft. of our design-award winning space and will have full access to multiple, sommelier staffed wine tasting bars including our beautiful, u-shaped stone bar, two Tasting Bays, Bottle Lounge, Main Stone Bar, Lounges, Wine Library and Private Dining Room. Guests will enjoy five-star wine and beer service in our design-award winning venue which includes luxurious bar spaces, spacious seating areas and intimate corners for conversation. Read more
FULL BUYOUT + TENT
All the great benefits of the Press Club Full Buyout with the bonus of a luxurious reception tent on Yerba Buena Lane to increase venue headcount up 400 guests. All events are based on a three-hour event timeframe and additional time will incur extension charges as outlined below. Read more
